Christine Persson grew up locally in the North Shore area of Sydney and has been riding horses since the young age of 8. Chrissy studied at the Univerity of Sydney, Orange and completed a Bachelor of Equine Business Management covering a wide range of topics such as equine nutrition, structure and functions of the horse, fitness and prep for performance and of course-Riding!
Chrissy completed and excelled in the EA NCAS Level 1 Instructor' course in 2008 and is the Head Instructor here at Samarai Park. Chrissy has been teaching students to learn how to ride for the past 4 years and thoroughly enjoys the experience of teaching people to learn how to ride and beyond. Chrissy trains with her coach on a weekly which in turn then brings in new ideas and inspirations for her students in her lesson as horse riding is always a work in progress and Chrissy likes to pass on her knowledge to the students here at Samarai Park
Chrissy currently owns a beautiful bay thoroughbred who she has been eventing. Chrissy is also currently working on dressage at a Novice level with him and hopes to take him out to more competitions with a eye to win!!

Kim Carlaw
Kim has worked in the animal care and management industry her entire working life.Having worked as a zookeeper and Veterinary Nurse at both Sydney's Taronga Zoo and Dubbo's Western Plains Zoo she has gained valuable knowledge on all types of animals however her heart always stayed with horses.
Kim has managed elite equestrian facilities in her life and when not working as a riding instructor,Kim dedicates much of her spare time to compete her Australian Stock Horse mare in shows and is also a active member of the campdrafting club.
Kim also works with her partner in training horses for film and live performances and also works on school horses with behavioural problems.
Most recently Kim has assissted along with her partner in the development of ridden and Liberty horse performances for the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the New South Wales Young Riders Showcase.
